I wore this outfit (right before I created my blog) to meet with the color lab of my company. I was hoping to woo them into ignoring my non-art background, see my color and texture combination, and hire me into the studio (yep, that didn’t work) but I got a ton of complements.
I paired this amazing cobalt pencil skirt with a loose tribal collared top, geometric hematite and gunmetal necklace, and a tan braided belt. I love the contrast within the shirt with its black collar and placket.
I further played up the back and cognac combo with my nude and tortoise shell flats and my beloved cognac and black Kate Spade bag (Left Brain’s amazing wedding present to me). This recreation didn’t include the fitted metallic black cardigan I wore that day (it was way too warm to pull it on).
I had so much fun with this shoot. With the Native American Imagery and all the water. It was a splash (pun intended).
