Channeling My Inner First Lady – What I Wore

Apologies for the huge gap in posting! Between work giving me new projects and a term paper for my graduate class I haven’t been able to keep up with posting. Now that that’s over….

on to what I wore for Easter….

I wanted to channel a classic vibe. Think Jackie-O or Michelle Obama.

Left Brain thinks I nailed it.

I paired my circle sunglasses with a pool blue J.Crew Factory dress. I had on sparkly stud earrings I could have also went with pearls) and my ModCloth pearl bracelet. I didn’t want a necklace because the neckline of this dress already has texture. The crowning glory of this outfit? My heels. Nude, satin, and my wedding shoes, these Badgley Mischka heels at a touch of classic glamour to any outfit. Since I typically don’t splurge on shoes and typically wear flats (which also explains the lack of background change in these photos), these are the treasure of my shoe collection.

Be fearless,

J.George

This is the perfect inspiration for the First Lady! I just adore cobalt and think it looks fabulous on you.
