Motivation
RealCyberCrime.com was developed as a personal outlet for myself to ramble about cybersecurity, technology, professional development, and other topics. Honestly, RealCyberCrime is a random name I took because everything I wanted was taken, I don’t even like it anymore, but whatever.
My technology career started as a web developer/programmer, then I worked myself up from Intern to Senior Cybersecurity Specialist for the federal government, and recently joined a Fortune 500 financial services company as their Principal Incident Response Analyst.
My experience is mostly in the DFIR (Digital Forensics & Incident Response) world, but cybersecurity operations as a whole is my passion.
