Date night is always special to me. Mr. works 40+ hours a week and with both of us working on engineering-based graduate programs we don’t always get to eat dinner together. I love it when we do get a chance to go out into downtown Chattanooga. It’s so vibrant and fun, with its own local flare. I decided to wear a skirt while the weather is still warm and sunny enough to do so. Take a look!
I’m feeling this transitional summer-fall palette of navy with floral. The shirt is one of Mr.’s that I liberated from his closet. The skirt is one I got off eBay, that I had to have after seeing on Pinterest. The shoes are surprisingly comfortable, and I love the contrast of the masculine stripe shirt with feminine blush and gold peep-toe boots and my taupe button earrings.
I kept my makeup light and fresh with favorite foundation MAC’s Face and Body with a light application of NARS Desire and CoverGirl lipstick in Divine (Repackaged). I added a few generous coats of L’oreal Paris Voluminous Miss Manga, to give my lashes a flirty and fluttery look. I also wore my hair with a center part, totally different from the deep side part on the right that I usually wear.
