I’m trying SO hard not to be one of those people that always posts pictures of her dog, BUT HE’S SO FREAKIN ADORABLE 😍 he’s just the sweetest. I could not have asked for a better puppy to be our first.

Mod-Retro Professional – What I Wore

Part 2/3 of my outfits in St. Louis! Here’s another professional look throwing in a print like in this look, but instead of a neutral, I color-blocked with a bright pencil skirt. With the print and colors, I feel like it gives off a strong 80’s vibe. Read on to see the description and details!

I wore this boxy windowpane printed shirt with a fitted cobalt pencil skirt. Since I knew I would be running around St. Louis’ cobblestone walkways, I wore my black suede smokers instead of heels. They look a little off with this outfit, but typically I would have worn classic black pumps like these or these. I wore my thin choker for one of the pictures but halfway through I decided I liked the outfit better without it, and removed it. I wore medium sized rhinestone studs to pair with the necklace, but I would have changed out the earrings for tasselsbars, or threaders for some statement sparkle since I took off the necklace. Understated always works, so it wasn’t an outfit make or break piece.

XOXO
