Nothing soothes the heat of the warmer months like a refreshing sorbet. That’s what this trend invokes. A cool breeze, a crisp swim in a pool, a sip of sweet of raspberry sweet tea.

Nothing hints spring to me like hits of neon. All over neon is more summery and pops of brightness mirror nature and the flowers blooming (through the dreary and cold winter). Black and neon is a little too stark for the season, but a grey, tan or white combination is fresh.

I’m so excited to shed the multiple layers that come with colder weather and dress in lighter fabrics. Metallics worked into simpler pieces (think sweaters and shorts) and neutrals will be on point for spring. It adds texture and dimension to any outfit, and its easy to mix it in. Don’t just expect to see it in the traditional gold and silver, pastel metallics will be popular as well.

Put away the rhinestone glue, gone are the days of over dazzled nail art. The trend is shifting to more muted and deliberate nail art. It’s been seen sweeping the runway during Fashion Week. I’m in love with this trend. Above is a gallery of my favorite nails seen around.
